Radford U. extends president's contract

RADFORD?? Radford University President Penelope Kyle's contract has been extended for five years.

The university announced the contract extension by the Board of Visitors on Thursday.

Radford spokeswoman Christy Jackson tells The Roanoke Times?that details of the contract are still being worked out.

Kyle was appointed in 2005 and is Radford's first female president.
